This media stream is transmitted directly between participants via WebRTC (Peer-to-Peer) technology and is never recorded or stored on our servers.
- Local Data & Storage: We use local storage technologies (including browser LocalStorage, Cookies, and Mobile App AsyncStorage) to remember your preferences (such as dark mode settings or match filters) and to maintain session stability.
- Connection Data: To establish a connection between two users, basic connection data (IP addresses) is processed momentarily by our signaling and STUN/TURN servers. This data is strictly used for routing and is not retained after the session ends.
- Device Information: We may collect non-personal technical data such as your device model, operating system version, or browser type to optimize video quality and app performance.

Important Safety Notice
Please be aware that while VetGat does not record your video, we cannot control the actions of the user you are matched with. The other user can see and hear you. They may have the ability to take screenshots or record the session using external devices or third-party software. You share information during a chat at your own risk.

- All WebRTC video/audio streams are encrypted using DTLS-SRTP standards.
- No identifiable video or audio content is stored on our servers.
- We use secure WebSocket (WSS) and HTTPS connections for all signaling data.
